The track speaks to the universal struggle with social media\, encouraging listeners to focus on their individual journeys rather than getting caught in the endless cycle of comparison and doomscrolling. Musically the track is influenced by artists like Red Clay Strays\, City & Colour and Jeff Buckley\, with moody indie melodies over a blues rock groove and a country-infused bridge that has become a staple of the band’s releases.\nIn 2025 ‘Clay Brown & the Trouble Round Town’ released their first two singles as a band ‘All My Friends’ (April) and ‘No Place’ (October) with radio spins across Australia including ABC Country & RTRFM\, and press coverage on Scenestr\, Sounds of Oz and Australian Music Scene (AMS).
