This May & June ‘Clay Brown & the Trouble Round Town’ will be venturing down to Bunbury, Albany & Bridgetown bringing their indie folk & blues rock sound to the south-west region. On Friday May 22nd at Prince of Wales in Bunbury the group will be supported by heavy blues rockers ‘Black River Ransom’, ‘Kris Nelson’ (folk & country) in Albany at Six Degrees on Saturday May 23rd, and ‘Moody Alice’ (folk rock) on Saturday June 6th at Karma Llama Lounge for their first show in Bridgetown.
On Jan 30th 2026 the band released their 3rd single, a blues-soaked indie-rock tune ‘Satisfy Your Mind’ that captures the essence of navigating the digital sea. The track speaks to the universal struggle with social media, encouraging listeners to focus on their individual journeys rather than getting caught in the endless cycle of comparison and doomscrolling. Musically the track is influenced by artists like Red Clay Strays, City & Colour and Jeff Buckley, with moody indie melodies over a blues rock groove and a country-infused bridge that has become a staple of the band’s releases.
In 2025 ‘Clay Brown & the Trouble Round Town’ released their first two singles as a band ‘All My Friends’ (April) and ‘No Place’ (October) with radio spins across Australia including ABC Country & RTRFM, and press coverage on Scenestr, Sounds of Oz and Australian Music Scene (AMS). After gaining festival slots and performing numerous gigs all around Western Australia, the band now have studio time booked to finalise their debut EP for a release in Late-2026, further cementing their place in the Australian music industry.
